Privacy Policy
Cathedra is a self-guided tour platform for cathedrals and churches, run by Fuzati LLC ("we"). This policy covers our iOS apps, including Tour the Savannah Cathedral and Cathedra, and this website.
The short version
- You can use the apps without an account. We don't ask for your name or email unless you choose to sign in.
- We don't show ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't sell or share your data with data brokers.
- The apps don't use your location. You tell the app whether you're at the cathedral.
- You can delete your account, and everything linked to it, from inside the app.
Using the apps without an account
When you open an app, it receives an anonymous guest token so it can download the tours. That token isn't tied to your name, email or device identifiers, and it expires on its own. Tour content, images and audio are then stored on your device so tours work without a signal. The Cathedra app keeps your progress through directory tours on your device only.
If you create an account
Signing in is optional. It lets you save favorites and pick up tours where you left off. We keep:
- Your name and email address, which you give us when you sign up, or which Apple shares with us if you use Sign in with Apple. If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email", we only see a relay address.
- An account identifier, and, for Sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple gives us for your account.
- Your password, stored only as a one-way hash, if you sign up with email.
- Your favorites and tour progress: which objects you've favorited, and which stops you've completed.
- Sign-in sessions: a token for each device you're signed in on, with the device name and when it was last used.
We use this only to run your account and the app. Each cathedral's account data is kept separate from every other cathedral's.
This website
If you send us an inquiry, we keep your name, email, role, organization and message, along with your IP address and browser details to guard against spam. The inquiry form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're not a bot.
Who else handles your data
We use service providers that process data for us and only to run Cathedra: our hosting and database providers, cloud file storage for tour media, and an email delivery service for account emails such as password resets. Apple handles Sign in with Apple under its own privacy policy. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account data until you delete your account. Guest tokens and sign-in sessions expire on their own. Like most services, our servers keep short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Deleting your account
In the app, open your profile (the person icon at the top of the screen) and choose Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, favorites, tour progress and sign-in sessions. You can also email us to ask for deletion, or for a copy of your data.
Children
The apps are suitable for all ages, but accounts aren't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you in the app.
